Welcome!
Preservapedia is (or, rather, will) be a free-content encyclopedia. Unlike Wikipedia or other similar resources, Preservapedia focuses specifically on technical material related to historic preservation and its allied fields. An example of this might be an article on the physical conservation of the Statue of Liberty (differing in scope from the general-audience Statue of Liberty article found on Wikipedia). Such an entry could include links to additional articles concerning the legislation that applies to the statue as a New York City Landmark, U.S. National Monument, and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We Need Your Help
We are currently looking for collaborators to both help with the general development of the site as well as generate content. Whether you have technical expertise in preservation, web development, or even if you're just interested, please contact us at admin@preservapedia.org, we'd love to hear from you!
